Introduction

FD-61MN is is a wireless communications and datalink solution for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and unmanned systems. It is a compact SDR that is ideal for a wide range of drones, robotics and autonomous vehicles, providing a range of up to 10 km video and telemetry/mavlink data transmitting.

IWAVE software-defined radios (SDRs)products can be dynamically reconfigured to support changing mission requirements and network conditions, and can be programmed to support a wide range of communication protocols and standards, thus ensuring a high degree of versatility and interoperability.

Features

  • Mesh Networking – a decentralized architecture that allows devices to network together without needing a central hub. This ensures that there is no single point of failure, and each device can dynamically reroute data through other nodes in near-real time. Mesh networking is highly scalable, as additional nodes can be added with very little effort or overhead.

  • Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) – uses randomized frequency changes several times a second to protect critical data and enhance security, especially in areas where multiple wireless networks operate.

  • Powerful Serial Port Functions For Data Services
    1.High-rate serial port data transmission: the baud rate is up to 460800
    2.Multiple working modes of the serial port: TCP Server mode, TCP Client mode, UDP mode, UDP multicast mode, transparent transmission mode, etc.
    3.MQTT, Modbus and other protocols. Supports serial port IoT networking mode, which can be used flexibly for networking. For example, users can accurately send control instructions to another node (drone, robot dog or other unmanned robotics) through a remote controller instead of using broadcast or multicast mode.
